Camp is open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
If a camper, parent or guardian has questions about accessibility or they need to request assistance in order for a camper to participate in this camp, including accommodations for dietary restrictions, please contact us at least 21 days prior to the start of the camp so that we may adequately assess and respond to your request.
Prior to camp participation we require supplemental medical documentation that you much complete and email back to Kassandragarcia@email.arizona.edu at least 7 days before the start of your selected camp.
Each camper must submit a completed physical form for the current school year prior to the start of a camp. Alternatively, a camper may submit a certification from their physician that he/she is physically fit to participate in all of the activities of a camp and that the physician does not know of any physical impairments which would limit in any manner their participation in such activities.
Campers may ONLY bring medication(s) to camp that have been approved in writing by our camp director. If a camper would like to bring any medication (prescription or over-the-counter) to camp, then the camper’s parent or legal guardian must
(1) Notify us of the type of medication(s) and whether it requires refrigeration or other special storage; and
(2) Request approval to bring the medication(s) to camp.
In order to adequately assess a request to bring medication to our camp, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org at least 21 days prior to the start of the camp.
If the medication is intended to treat a potentially life-threatening condition, then a camper will be permitted to carry necessary items (e.g., an EPI-pen, an inhaler for asthma) during camp provided that the camper has received the aforementioned advance written approval of the camp director.
Parents and other spectators are welcome to observe camp. In order to create a safe environment for our campers, camp staff, parents and other spectators, please follow all instructions from camp personnel and remain in designated public viewing areas. Please use caution while observing camp activities. Parents, spectators and children assume the risk of being struck by a ball or being run into by a camper or service vehicle. Parents should closely supervise any children who accompany them to watch camp activities. All parents, spectators and children should refrain from using, moving or otherwise handling any sports equipment that is located at the camp facility.
